Blank Space / Style (Taylor Swift Mash-Up)

Have I mentioned I’m seeing my girl Taylor Swift in concert come October? I’ve only heard good things when it comes to her live performances and I’m SUPER excited to shake it off with my best friend Katie (whom I surprised with tickets for her Christmas/birthday present). Taylor recently tweeted about the mash-up below and now it’s gone viral! As it should, it’s a good one. Plus, it combines my two favourite songs on her 1989 album “Blank Space” and “Style,” although “New Romantics” and “Wonderland” are up there as well – they’re all just so catchy!

How to master Taylor Swift’s long-lasting red lip

Red has been the colour of the year for Taylor Swift. Her latest album, Red, has been wildly successful, her global tour of the same name has sold out at every stop and the single, “Red” was a catchy summer hit. But then there’s the other red in Swift’s life: her signature red lip. The shade practically defines her pop star identity and not since Tragic Kingdom-era Gwen Stefani has a lip colour inspired a generation of beauty junkies. From preventing your lips from drying out to choosing the right colour, here’s how to get Taylor Swift’s look. One: Pick a shade based on the attitude that you want to portray. A strong, bold red, such as M.A.C “Ruby Woo” ($18, maccosmetics.com), will …

The Next Chapter

Hello all, It has been awhile since I’ve given an in-depth life update! Luckily for you, today is my first FULL day off since January, which means I have time to sit down and reflect back on everything. After finishing school in December and completing two (editorial and beauty) internships, not to mention a part-time job and other side projects. I can finally relax for a bit. The past few months I’ve aged myself by at least seven years. I don’t feel like I’m 22, which both scares and delights me. It scares me because I want to live my life as a normal young adult where I can act crazy, travel, and not have to constantly remind myself that I need to have fun while I’m still wild and free (even Taylor Swift agrees). This past year alone, I’ve grown-up a lot. I’m not the same person I was a year ago and I’ll be the first to tell you: growing pains are the worst. There were times I overwhelmed myself with questions such …
