Dear my lovely readers: Hope you are all having a relaxing holiday season! I just want to take the time to say how thankful I am for all of you. You all have been so sweet and always find a way to make me smile! Your support means the world to me. šŸ™‚ Here’s to another great year and another great adventure! Is there such thing as too big?

These over-sized hobo bags fromĀ PatkasĀ can literally fit all my hockey equipment and maybe a snack or two. I can understand their use for days when you need to fit everything in one bag (obviously), but they seem a little silly to carry around on an everyday basis. Your shoulder would break! Plus, when you’re looking for something you’re basically reaching into Narnia. How will you ever be able to find anything?   $28.59 $224.63

Kopano

I’m feeling supportive today. Here’s a video of my brothers band (Kopano), they are opening up for Protest The Hero Jan. 26th at Horseshoe Tavern. I hope they make it big so they can afford rehearsal space. I don’t remember what it’s like to live in a quiet house.

A gun is more accessible than mental health care…

“Mentally ill people are everywhere. But when you are raised in the US where a gun is more accessible than mental health care. Shit is going to happen.” – Kelly Oxford I would like to add, why are reportersĀ interviewingĀ the children at the Connecticut elementary school. It’s disgusting, lazy journalism. Even more disgusting, this is actuallyĀ available at Wal-Mart….. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Bushmaster-M4A3-.223-REM-16-Patrol-Carbine/19235996 Gun laws in America are way over due.

They had their entire lives ahead of them…

“The majority of those who died today were children – beautiful, little kids between the ages of 5 and 10 years old. They had their entire lives ahead of them – birthdays, graduations, weddings, kids of their own…as a country, we have been through this too many times. Whether it is an elementary school in Newtown, or a shopping mall in Oregon, or a temple in Wisconsin, or a movie theater in Aurora, or a street corner in Chicago, these neighborhoods are our neighborhoods and these children are our children. And we’re going to have to come together and take meaningful action to prevent more tragedies like this, regardless of the politics…may God bless the memory of the victims and, in the words of Scripture, heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds.” – Barack Obama

I COMPLETED UNIVERSITY!

YAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! Today I wrote my last exam and finished university forever! Four and a half years later… Keep in mind, my brain is exhausted, so anything thatĀ doesn’tĀ make sense in the post, just nod your head and smile. HOW DO I FEEL NOW THAT I’M DONE? Relieved. A sense of pride. A long time coming. People ask if I’m sad. I’m not. I loved university, but I’ve been ready for the “real world” for quiteĀ awhile. I’ve been anxious to leave my comfort zone and do my own thing.Ā I’m ready. I know what I want to do and the direction I want to go in. I can’t stop smiling because everything I’ve dreamed of doing and hoped of being, I can do and be now. It’s an amazing, free, bittersweet feeling. WHAT HAS UNIVERSITY TAUGHT ME? I’ll take this question year by year. I’ll discuss the top 5 things I’ve learned each year of university, academically and socially. YEAR ONE: I learned friendships and relationships change and sometimes, as much as I want to believe it, they …
