TOP 10 THINGS I LEARNED WHILE IN CUBA

1. Hot-cups on an airplane are always a good idea.  Especially when you look this good. 2. Aloe is your best friend. Or else… 3. Never leave valuables outside your hotel room.  Anything and everything you don’t keep your eye on, will get likely get stolen. This means not leaving your bathing suit outside to dry. Right Kyle? On a happier note, look how nice our room was! 4. Always leave tips for the maid. She may not leave you with clean sheets or towels but who can stay mad when she surprises you with an entire bottle of rum on your bed. 5. Never dance-dare a brides groom at a club. She and her mother will not like it. 6. Don’t eat the cheese. Unless you want a date with the toilet that night. This was the food I tried to stick with every day. Mmm, that mango was SO good! 7. Two extra-strong Gravols in the middle of the day are never a good idea.  No matter how sick you feel those pink little pills will …

LET’S GO BLUE JAYS!

Another summer goal is officially crossed off! 7. Attend a Blue Jays game. Yesterday night I attended a Jays game with Kyle and his friends for his birthday! Lucky us, the Jays defeated the Orioles 8-6 – it was a close game near the end, but the boys pulled it off! I’m talking like I had any idea what was going on…I just cheered when everyone else did and yelled BLUUUUUUEEEE JAAAAAAYYSSS every 2 minutes. Jose Bautista! My friend Emily and I at the game…and her boyfriend Spencer in the background. Made some cupcakes for the birthday boy! 🙂 The most attractive photo of Kyle and I. Weekend’s coming up, what are you guys up to? 🙂 XO Jessica TWITTER: https://twitter.com/#!/Jessica_Moy

Engagement party and why you shouldn’t trust kimchi

Hey all! I know I’ve been M.I.A for the past few days, but after exams I needed a much deserved break! My boyfriend and I went to Keswick for the weekend where we permanently situated ourselves on the couch and watched The Game Show Network (Newlyweds Show and Family Feud mostly) while eating bottomless pits of Smart Food. In the middle of our couch potato laziness, we DID got up for two very important reasons 1) Attending our first engagement party. Kyle’s friends Matt and Mel are tying the knot! Did I mention they’re our age? TWENTY-ONE! It freaks me out! The thought of ’till death do us part at this age is crazy because…after marriage is babies…and saving up for their future…and having your own career…and buying a house…and insurance…and mortgages…AHH, ADULT RESPONSIBILITIES! The average age to get married in 2012 is 26-28, so you can understand why young adults like myself get freaked out when the thought of “I do” is SOO far in the future. I guess 21 isn’t TOO young, but I still think of myself and all of my …

Gilmore Girls obsessed

Not too long ago I was introduced to Gilmore Girls. Saying i’m in love the show would be an understatement. O-M-G, obsessed. It’s AMAZING, FUNNY, and GIRLY and I don’t know why NO ONE has recommended this to me until now! My boyfriend, of all people… I just finished the first season and i’m itching to watch the rest of the seasons this summer! I LOVE the relatable characters, witty dialogue, and especially love the name Lorelai! If you haven’t seen the show, I am telling you now – watch it. Trust me. Kyle loves it, so it’s not just for girls – then again he loves Shania Twain and The Notebook so… Did anyone else know Alexis Bladel (who plays a 16 year old in the show) was 20 when she played the role? I’m looking for more TV shows to watch during the summer, whether they’re old or new, have any suggestions for me? Leave me a comment! 🙂 XO Jessica [Phone rings, then continues to ring] Lorelai: Michel – the phone! Michel: Yes. It rings. Lorelai: Can you answer …
