I Love My Job
I wake up and look forward to working with the best magazine and greatest team I’ve ever been apart of! I’m learning a boatload and having so much fun at the same time! It’s a place where I feel accepted and if I want to wear a weirdly printed blouse or floral skirt, I won’t be looked at as a freak, heh heh. Jokes aside, I feel included and love the fact that I can relate to everyone because we are all bound with the same passion and similar interests. Here are some of my posts from this week! Short life update
Hey everyone! I know I haven’t written about what’s going on in my life in awhile. I’ve been so busy and honestly, since December, I’m trying to put myself into a daily routine. If I’m not at my internship or working at the restaurant, I’m making videos or trying to remember to eat and sleep. Once I get into the habit of everything, I’ll be writing a lot more. Also, I’ve been conflicted with other life decisions. I’m at a point where I want to travel somewhere for a large amount of time or do something I couldn’t do if I had a full-time career. If I don’t make that “big life adventure” decision within the next year, it won’t happen. Does anyone else feel that pressure? I’m conflicted because I want to be a career woman and have a great job I’m passionate about, but, I also want to travel and do my own thing for a year. I feel like if I travel, I’m going to be behind in my “career” compared to my friends who …
Unstoppable
It’s never a dull moment when the four of us get together. It only happens twice a year so we always make the best of it. Yes, we may be a tad bit dysfunctional and crazy, but as much as we annoy each other, we truly do love each other to pieces. That’s how all true friendships last, right? 🙂
Happy New Year!
Here’s to a fun, adventurous, safe, happy and crazy 2013! 🙂

I COMPLETED UNIVERSITY!
YAYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! Today I wrote my last exam and finished university forever! Four and a half years later… Keep in mind, my brain is exhausted, so anything that doesn’t make sense in the post, just nod your head and smile. HOW DO I FEEL NOW THAT I’M DONE? Relieved. A sense of pride. A long time coming. People ask if I’m sad. I’m not. I loved university, but I’ve been ready for the “real world” for quite awhile. I’ve been anxious to leave my comfort zone and do my own thing. I’m ready. I know what I want to do and the direction I want to go in. I can’t stop smiling because everything I’ve dreamed of doing and hoped of being, I can do and be now. It’s an amazing, free, bittersweet feeling. WHAT HAS UNIVERSITY TAUGHT ME? I’ll take this question year by year. I’ll discuss the top 5 things I’ve learned each year of university, academically and socially. YEAR ONE: I learned friendships and relationships change and sometimes, as much as I want to believe it, they …
My highest and lowest marks in university
In my first semester of university EVER I had to complete a science perspective as part of my journalism program. I (thinking it would be a piece of cake) took a course called Environmental Hazards. Hurricanes? Earthquakes? Volcanoes? EASY! ….NOT! I felt like a complete foreigner. Science is not my strong suit and not at all what I was studying in school. I had no idea what I was learning nor what I was doing. Being in this class can only be described as me being hit by a bus for 3 straight hours. When finals came along, I had to pass the exam of 200 multiple choice to pass the course. Yikes! In the end, I DID IT! Ended up with a 53% in the course and couldn’t be happier! Never become a scientist. Check. My highest mark in university was actually in my last semester EVER (funny how that works). Theatre is one of my minors, and in my last semester I took a class called Advanced Workshop: Performance. I’ve taken performance classes throughout university so I …
Happy one year anniversary
A year ago today, Kyle whisked me away on a surprise trip to Keswick, bought me flowers, and undercooked our dinner. He then asked me to be his girlfriend while sharing a tub of ice-cream, how could I say no? Happy one year anniversary my love! ♥ 🙂
Getting those last minute marks in
My unicycle and I never fail to amaze people. Now, it seems it never fails me in school either. I knew this useless talent would come in handy one day!

What I want for Christmas
I get it. Christmas isn’t for a month and a half, but I prepared my list for my family and friends to see, just incase they were wondering what lovely, materialistic things I want for the holidays. 😉 1. Headphones Whether I’m at school, reading or walking down the street, I have my I-Pod playing pretty much all day. I hate the little earbuds that come with your I-Pod. They keep falling from my ears and they break SO easily. I swear I’ve been through at least six of them within this past year. These ones are Beats By Dre, but any earphones that resemble this in any colour will be perfect! 2. Bedsheets I’ve had the same ones since high school. Time to be a grown up. I LOVE these ones from Urban Outfitters! Black and white patterns (like the photo below) are my favourite. 3. Clothes Rack ($12) I’ve wanted one for years, and I have no idea why I haven’t just gone out and got it for myself. Regardless, this one is …
