Beauty inspiration for you next Holiday soiree

Holiday festivities are well underway and when it comes to your beauty regime, it’s time to break away from winged liner and red lips and start playing with pretty sparkles and a variety of winter-inspired hues. Here are my recommendations when it comes to getting ready in a pinch, with products that will last the entire night!

When you’re presenting the turkey or opening presents, all eyes (and future Instagram photos) are on your hands. My go-to for nails is a staple red such as Revlon’s classic “Revlon Red” topped with Lacc’s “#2013,” which work together to give that ideal Holiday colour that is both super shiny and chip-resistant (thanks to the top coat, trust me, this one is an absolute dream).

NARS blush in “Orgasm” is my secret to get a natural, winter radiance. The goal is to achieve that exact blush shade you get when someone holds a mistletoe over your head, and this peachy pink shimmer will provide a flirty glow that will compliment any skin tone. NARS ORGASM BEST BLUSHWhen it comes to eyes this Holiday season, experiment with a variety of colours (especially with those coloured palettes that go untouched throughout the year, you know exactly what I’m talking about). The Body Shop’s eyeshadow palette in “Dolly Pastels” include this seasons hottest shades with natural, fun shadows to play around with to either achieve a simple daytime look or, blend the deep brown into your crease for a nighttime smokey eye. If you’re brunette, you can even use that exact dark brown shade to fill in your eyebrows since it is matte (love a good 2-for-1). I complimented the shadow with Rimmel’s Spark It Up! Gleaming Eye Darkening Liner in “Lapis,” which is gives an unexpected hint of navy blue on your lids.
