1. What was the most exciting thing that happened to you in 2012?
I started my YouTube channel this summer. Why did I start one? Because I LOVE LOVE LOVE just sitting in my bed and watching beauty and fashion videos from my favourite gurus. I love talking about makeup and new trends, plus my friends always ask for fashion and beauty tips, so I figured why not film myself and help other people out as well! Also, I finished University, interned for CTV/TSN in the Summer and found out I’m working for a magazine in the new year. 🙂
2. What was your favorite video you filmed this year?
3. Best YouTube video of 2012?
I wouldn’t say this is the BEST video, but Gregory Gorgeous has been my favourite YouTuber of 2012. He’s so funny, energetic, fearless, talented and from my hometown of Toronto!
4. What was your favorite new product in 2012?
I chose three.
Clarins Lipstick: Subtle Rose
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner: Trooper
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palette: Naked 2
5. What new thing are you glad you tried in 2012?
Playing boys hockey at my school. I was nervous at first because I didn’t want to be looked down upon, but I wasn’t at all. I love playing with the guys and I’m glad I stuck with it for a semester.
6. What’s the most important lesson you learned in 2012?
Nothing will ever come to me on a silver platter. I have to work hard if I want to achieve anything.
7. What was the best movie of 2012?
The Hunger Games. I didn’t see a lot of new movies in 2012, but that one I enjoyed.
8. Best song?
This year was all about country music. I wouldn’t say this is my favourite song of 2012, but it’s one of my top played songs on my iTunes and I dance to it at least a couple times a day.
Georgia Peaches – Lauren Alaina
9. Best TV show?
I’m choosing a bunch.
The Bachelorette, The Bachelor Canada, America’s Next Top Model: College Edition, Modern Family, Pretty Little Liars and Greys Anatomy.
10. What one product do you hope someone releases in 2013?
A nail polish remover that takes away glitter nail polish in one swipe. This product may exist already. Someone needs to tell me about it.
